Divided because of Malacothamnus fasciculatus-Ceanothus spinosus (type which needs more data), could be combined for mapping purposes. Black sage inclusion at west end. Malacothamnus fasciculatus is denuded of leaves and would normally have higher cover, probably higher than Rhus ovata. More Salvia mellifera at east end. Only one snippet of Artemisia californica.
